Sulphuric Acid

Sulfuric acid is a colorless oily liquid. It is soluble in water with release of heat. It is corrosive to metals and tissue. It is unlikely to cause a fire.

USES:

The primary application of sulfuric acid is in fertilizer processing. It is commonly used in chemical processing, e.g. in the manufacture of hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, sulfate salts, synthetic detergents, dyes and pigments, explosives, and medicines.
